Carers Week

7th-13th June 2021

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.
It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

Our CarerLinks team are running a number of events taking place during carers week to help carers connect and for us to provide useful information and advice to support your role.

Carers Week Events – Click the box below for your area, or you are welcome to join any of the Zoom sessions for any area.

Please check back nearer to Carers Week as more events are being added each week.

Carers Photography Competition

Can you capture life as a carer on camera?

Life as a carer can be very rewarding but also very challenging and not everyone truly understands the role of a carer.

Whilst we understand the role can vary greatly from carer to carer, we’d love to be able to share real images that capture what life is like for a carer.
