Finance Assistant – Congleton
Salary £19,350, Based in Congleton, Full time 37 hours , 5 days per week
Crossroads Together is a charitable organisation who provide information, advice and support to anyone living with the challenges of caring, unpaid for a family member or friend.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly finance team based in Congleton. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing sales ledger primarily, but also assisting colleagues in banking, purchase ledger and payroll.
You will have considerable financial and administrative experience in raising sales invoices, processing payments from clients and undertaking credit control. Experience of processing bank transactions (including bank reconciliations) and purchase ledger will also be something you are comfortable in doing. Experience of payroll, while not essential, will be an advantage. You will be a confident communicator who is comfortable dealing with clients over the telephone and in writing.

|You will have experience of Sage Accounting, Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience of Sage Payroll would be advantageous but not essential.|
|AAT Level 3 is desirable, but more important is relevant experience and a positive ‘can do’ approach.|
|This role will be suitable for someone looking to develop their all-round accounting skills.|
