Extra Care Support Workers

Roles available within our Stockport Extra Care Housing Service based in Marple and Edgeley

Crossroads Together are a registered charity providing information, advice and support to anyone living with the challenges of caring, unpaid for a family member or friend. In addition, we provide regulated care services to people of all ages. We are CQC rated Good in all locations.

As an Extra Care Support Worker, you will be required to provide personal care, practical and emotional support in people’s own homes within an Extra Care setting, whilst helping individuals maintain their independence.

The role will involve working to individuals person centred care plans and could involve support with medication, light domestic duties and supporting people in the community.

About You

Six months experience in care/support work required
Looking for a new or change in career
Able to treat people with dignity, empathy and compassion
Want to work with a great team
Want a rewarding career where you make a real difference
Excellent communication skills
Must hold a Care Certificate or hold Health & Social Care qualification level 2 or 3
A can do approach
