At Crossroads Together, we understand that caring can be hard, but believe getting the right help shouldn’t be. We work directly with and for, unpaid carers to provide personalised information, advice and support; making it easier for those caring for someone else to continue living their lives to the fullest.
Crossroads Together are a well-established charity who are dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of unpaid carers of all ages by delivering the CarerLinks service.
CarerLinks provides a comprehensive support service for carers in Cheshire West & Chester. Caring for someone you love can be very rewarding, but it can also have an impact on emotional, physical and financial wellbeing. CarerLinks ensures unpaid carers can access the support and information they need to continue caring.
Joining Crossroads Together will give you the opportunity to work as part of a skilled, dedicated and knowledgeable team who are working together to make the voices of carers heard.
This rewarding role will act as the first point of contact for carers, offering practical and emotional support, advice, advocacy and signposting to all sources of support available to carers, ensuring that they only tell their story once. The ability to actively promote the project within the local community, building partnerships and engaging with key stakeholders are also fundamental elements of the role.

|Experience of working with adults in either groups or one-one setting|
|The ability to inspire, support and motivate colleagues, network partners, multi- disciplinary team and carers|
|A working knowledge of health and social care particularly in relation to adults/carers and a good understanding of carers issues|
|Experience of using IT packages including, word, excel and Microsoft Teams|
|Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills|
|Experience with monitoring and reporting outcomes and the ability to motivate self to work within deadlines|
|Confident in public speaking, having experience of presenting ideas or feedback to groups (large and small)|
|Be able to deliver workshops, presentations and webinars to professionals and carers|
|Experience of partnership working|
|The ability to think outside the box|
|Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.|
